It's Karaoke Time

Every Tuesday morning you can come along and join Colin, Carol & Jane with our fun karaoke sessions.

This is one of our free activities and runs from 10am until 12.30pm.......but if you smile nicely at our Col, he might run on longer!

We have a large 70 inch smart board tv which we drag out and can have access to virtually any song that you would like if it's been made into a karaoke version. We have three microphones sockets in our pa, so you can do group singing with your friends, Some people like to sing a long to the artist and have the original song playing with the lyrics showing up, or you can do it true karaoke style. We have 20 microphones, so people don’t have to share, or you can bring your own in if you prefer. 

Not all our karaoke goes on inside the Unity Centre, occasionally we have been known to gate crash one of Louie Lou’s gigs and take the microphones along!

We also get out some percussion instruments for people who would like to shake or rattle something....dancing along with these is quite popular.....especially with staff!….Definately me….and you’ll have to come along to find out who “me” is! 

These sessions can get quite busy, so come early if you'd like to sing several songs and add your name to the song sheet.
